Would you please hurry up

This is your list
Of hidden places to look.
Remember it well
while you check every nook.
On top of the pillow and
Under the chair.
Inside the toilet and
All through your hair.
Across your forehead and
Betwixt your toes.*
Through both ears and
Deep in your nose.
Behind the front door and
Just past your shoes.
Are you getting closer?
Look for more clues.
Go down the hallway and
Up where it’s sunny
Wait…
I FORGOT.
It’s inside my tummy!
Do you like avocados?
What green things do you like to eat?
Have you ever lost anything?

The Story Cottage 
Love this story and I LOVE avocados so much!
I like to eat avocados (as I said before), broccoli, asparagus (so good!!), kiwi (I want to eat a kiwi right now, lol), cucumbers, Shamrock Shakes (from Mcdonalds!), and mint candies!
I have lost a lot of things from library books to toys. Sometimes I loose things and I check where I think it is and it isn’t there. I keep looking and check back where I looked in the first place and it is there!!
That website about turning avocado seeds into jewelry looks really neat!

I’m so happy you liked the story, Rhiannon! The idea for the plot came from a girl who LOVES avocados, too!
Your list of green things is making me hungry! Maybe on St. Patrick’s Day you could eat a whole meal with JUST green things, including dessert! Throw some falafel in there (green on the inside!) for protein and you’d be all set. Yummmm!
Do you wonder if the things you’ve lost get moved around? Maybe someone or something brings the item BACK once they/it realizes you’ve been looking for the object! Hmmm…I smell a story in there for you to write!

That’s a good idea! Mmm- I forgot about falafels! They are very good! Also, some veggie burgers are green!
LOL! That could be true! Maybe when my siblings are helping me look, they slip it back where it was and tell me to check there. That would be a funny story!!
